About The Position
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Physician Assistant in Boca Raton, FL. The position involves providing advanced care to patients under the direction of a physician, promoting wellness, and counseling patients on preventative care. The role requires travel to partner campuses and working independently in a partner clinic, which includes performing phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, and vaccinations. Responsibilities also include assessing and treating patients for urgent care visits, general primary care, and routine physical exams, as well as providing both acute and chronic medical care. The Physician Assistant will develop treatment plans, make clinical decisions using evidence-based strategies, and comply with regulations and internal policies.
