About The Position

Florida Woman Care, a medical affiliate of Unified Women's Healthcare, is looking for a Full time Physician Assistant to join their prestigious Woman's Health Center at our Poinciana location in Kissimmee, Florida. Position Highlights: Esteemed: Join an established and successful practice that has served the central Florida area for 20 years. Enjoy a Balanced Schedule: (4) 10-hour shifts with no nights, weekends, or call shifts. Hospital Affiliation: Deliveries at AdventHealth Celebration — a trusted facility with Level II NICU and 24/7 access to specialists and advanced care. On-Site Ultrasound: Immediate access to diagnostic imaging enhances patient care and streamline workflow. Experienced Clinical Support: Work alongside a fully licensed, compassionate, and skilled clinical team. Language Skills Valued: Spanish or Portuguese fluency required to serve our diverse patient population. Our staff is also 90% bilingual, which helps with patient care and ease of communication. Practices expand across cities throughout the entire State of Florida, from the Panhandle to South Miami.

Requirements

  • National Physician Assistant certification or ability to obtain
  • Unrestricted, active licensure in the State or ability to obtain
  • Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
  • CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
  • Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
  • Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff
  • Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician
  • One year of full-time experience as a physician assistant is preferred
  • Must be fluent in either Spanish and/or Portuguese
