About The Position

The Urology PA is an integral part of the care team. This PA will have the opportunity to learn and develop a multitude of Urology skills and procedures. Establishes a presumptive diagnosis and performs a general work-up including the ordering of appropriate laboratory studies. Under supervision, is responsible for the patient's medical issues following the diagnosis. This is full time (Monday-Friday - 8:00am-6:30pm. Hours will vary depending on provider) position at NYP Medical Group Brooklyn located at 38 6th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11217. May be required to cover at other locations within Brooklyn Medical Group.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Degree or major in Certified Physician Assistant.
  • Licensure as a Physician's Assistant by the State of New York.
  • National Commission Certified Physician Assistant (NCCPA).

Nice To Haves

  • One year of inpatient experience.
  • Experienced Physician Assistant within a Urology, Oncology, OB GYN and/or Surgery in a patient care setting.
  • Bilingual- English/Mandarin/Cantonese speaking preferred.

Responsibilities
