POSITION SUMMARY Performs and documents patient physical assessment to identify priority care needs, obtains a detailed medical history, identified patients at physiological and/or physiological risk. Performs procedures necessary to implement plan of care, orders tests and consults as required by plan of care. Accurately documents all patient care activities and evaluates the outcome of patient care.

Requirements

• PA - accredited by the ARC-PA and either the CAHEA or CAAHEP
• Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• Certification for advanced practice
• Licensed or eligible for licensing in State
• BLS within 90 days of hire

Nice To Haves

• Preferred one year of medical experience from a similar setting.
• PA - accredited by the ARC-PA and either the CAHEA or CAAHEP
• 1 to 2 years Healthcare/Hospital experience
• American Academy of Physician Assistants
