About The Position
Johns Hopkins Hospital is a world-renowned healthcare institution committed to excellence in patient care, research, and education. Our Center for Transgender and Gender Expansive Health offers comprehensive, evidence-based and affirming care for transgender youth and adults that is in line with the standards of care set by the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH). We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Surgical Physician Assistant to join the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The department covers a wide variety of patient care activities including gender-affirmation surgery, breast reconstruction, trauma, lymphedema, extremity reconstruction, hand surgery, and complex surgical wound care. These surgeries often require collaborative, multidisciplinary care. This position will support the Medical Director for the Center for Transgender and Gender Expansive Health's busy reconstructive surgery practice. The role is full-time, consisting of 4 ten-hour days from Monday to Thursday, with no night shifts, weekends, or on-call duties.
