About The Position

Position Responsibilities Includes but is not limited to Provide comprehensive outpatient care for patients with benign and malignant breast conditions Manage patients across the continuum of care, including diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship Perform pre-operative evaluations and provide patient education and counseling Conduct in-office procedures, including incision and drainage (I&D) and breast aspiration Screen high-risk patients and facilitate genetic testing and counseling referrals Counsel patients on breast cancer risk reduction strategies and chemoprevention options Coordinate referrals to supportive services, including lymphedema therapy and physical therapy Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure high-quality, coordinated care Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation First assist in the operating room may be required Position Experience Required Prefer experience in surgical oncology or breast surgery

Requirements

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Active and unrestricted PA license in NJ
  • DEA & NJ Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) license

  • Prefer experience in surgical oncology or breast surgery
