About The Position
Northwestern Medicine has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physician Assistant to work in our Surgical department. This is position is 100% inpatient. The Physician Assistant will be covering inpatients and ER consults for the following surgical specialties: ENT, General Surgery, Gastroenterology, Urology, Thoracic Surgery, and Ophthalmology. This PA will assist surgeons that are on call with providing initial inpatient and ER consults during the hours of 2:30pm-2:30am. You will work in partnership with the on call MDs and will be utilized as a 1st assist in the OR for cases. Schedule: 2:30pm-2:30am. The Physician Assistant reflects the mission, vision, and values of NMHC, adheres to the organizations Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
