Physician Assistant Surgical Float
About The Position
Seeking a full-time Surgical Float physician assistant to join a busy practice at Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, California. This position would provide support to multiple surgical service lines including Urogynecology, Gynecology Oncology, Hepatobiliary Surgical Oncology, General Surgery, and Thoracic Surgery. This is a great opportunity to join a large, well-respected team. The ideal candidate will have a strong OR skills and robotics experience, as well as experience with inpatient surgical patient management. Position Details: + Full-time position + Monday to Friday schedule with optional extra shifts + No call requirements + Responsibilities include OR first assist, inpatient rounds on post-op patients, and occasionally clinic support
Requirements
- 3+ years OR experience required; new graduates will not be considered
- NPs with RNFA and OR experience welcome to apply
- NCCPA Certification, active California License, and DEA certificate required
Nice To Haves
- Epic experience is a plus
