About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant - Surgery / Vascular to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. Provides clinical and administrative services to vascular surgery patients under the supervision of an attending physician.

Requirements

Board Eligible or Board Certified by the NCCPA.
Licensed to practice in New York State.
BLS/ACLS certification required.

Prior surgical or vascular experience preferred; new graduates considered.

Responsibilities

Performs comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations for inpatient and outpatient vascular patients.
Assists in the management of pre-operative and post-operative vascular surgery patients.
Participates in vascular surgical procedures, rounds, consults, and follow-up care.
Orders, interprets, and reviews diagnostic tests including labs, imaging, and vascular studies.
Collaborates with surgeons, nursing staff, case management, and ancillary services to coordinate care.
Performs BLS and ACLS interventions during emergent situations within scope of practice.

Benefits

Annual Base Salary: $131,127 - $174,836 based on 40-hour work week and years of state licensure.
The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $144,239 - $192,319, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below:
