About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant - Surgery / Vascular to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. Opportunity Details: Schedule: Daytime, with flexibility; inpatient and procedural coverage. Provides clinical and administrative services to vascular surgery patients under the supervision of an attending physician.

Requirements

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified by the NCCPA.
  • Licensed to practice in New York State.
  • BLS/ACLS certification required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior surgical or vascular experience preferred; new graduates considered.

Responsibilities

  • Performs comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations for inpatient and outpatient vascular patients.
  • Assists in the management of pre-operative and post-operative vascular surgery patients.
  • Participates in vascular surgical procedures, rounds, consults, and follow-up care.
  • Orders, interprets, and reviews diagnostic tests including labs, imaging, and vascular studies.
  • Collaborates with surgeons, nursing staff, case management, and ancillary services to coordinate care.
  • Performs BLS and ACLS interventions during emergent situations within scope of practice.

Benefits

  • Annual Base Salary: $131,127 - $174,836 based on 40-hour work week and years of state licensure.
  • The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $144,239 - $192,319, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below:
  • 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
