Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant - Surgery / Orthopedics to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. Opportunity Details: Provides clinical and administrative services in both inpatient and outpatient orthopedic settings. Evaluates and treats patients under the supervision of an attending orthopedic surgeon. Assists in surgical and nonsurgical orthopedic cases, including fracture reductions and cast applications. Collaborates with social services and case management for pre- and post-operative planning to ensure timely discharges. Screens and triages patients for appropriate clinic assignment and tele visits. Participates in departmental conferences and continuing education activities. Performs administrative duties related to orthopedic services.

Requirements

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified by the NCCPA.
  • Licensed to practice in New York State.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience preferred; new graduates will be considered.

Benefits

  • Annual Base Salary: $131,127 - $174,836 based on 40-hour work week and years of state licensure.
  • The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $144,239 - $192,319, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below:
  • 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
