About The Position
Manteo Community Health Center, which is a part of Ocracoke Health Center, Inc., is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our team on North Carolina’s stunning Outer Banks. We’re a passionate group of providers committed to delivering excellent, compassionate care to our tight-knit coastal community. We are a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), which means we provide comprehensive primary care services to all patients, regardless of their ability to pay, and focus on serving underserved and rural communities. FQHC status also allows us to offer additional support and resources to our patients and staff. About the Role: Work alongside experienced physicians and clinical staff in a supportive, collaborative environment Provide primary and preventive care to diverse patients of all ages Flexible employment arrangements: we are open to full-time, part-time, or short-term contract opportunities The clinic is open Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm (no on-call schedule!) Contribute to health initiatives that keep our community thriving
Requirements
- Is a licensed Physician Assistant in North Carolina
- Has experience in primary care or family practice (new grads welcome!)
- Brings strong clinical skills and a team spirit
- Enjoys building relationships with patients and colleagues
- Wants to live and work in a place where work-life balance really means something

Benefits
- Salary: $106,000 – $125,000 per year
