About The Position
The MainStreet Family Care Preceptorship Program is designed to provide aspiring healthcare professionals, specifically physician assistants, with hands-on experience and mentorship in a dynamic urgent care setting. This program aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical clinical skills, preparing individuals for successful careers in healthcare. Program Highlights: Duration: The preceptorship program typically spans a month or semester long, offering participants a comprehensive understanding of urgent care operations. Mentorship: Participants will work closely with experienced healthcare professionals who will serve as mentors, providing guidance and support throughout the program. Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited physician assistant program.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Desire to work in urgent care preferred.
- Have an active affiliation agreement
