About The Position

The Physician Assistant in Pediatric Endocrinology at Penn State Health is responsible for assisting physicians in the medical care and management of pediatric patients with endocrine disorders. This role involves performing physical examinations, making rounds, administering injections, caring for wounds, and arranging patient referrals. The position is full-time, with a standard work schedule of Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or a baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in Pennsylvania.
  • National Certification in Pennsylvania or another state with reciprocity and licensure to practice in Pennsylvania.

  • Relevant experience in pediatric endocrinology preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians in the medical care and management of pediatric patients.
  • Perform physical examinations and other patient assessments.
