About The Position

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking physician assistants to join the new inpatient Palliative Care Unit. This role is a great opportunity for a PA to demonstrate their passion and develop advanced palliative care skills while growing a new unit, all done in collaboration with a specialized interdisciplinary team. The Palliative Care team is made up of physicians, PAs, registered nurses, chaplains, social workers, consulting providers, and more. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality care to patients with a focus on palliative medicine and inpatient hospice care. This is a rotating position with a weekend rotation. Holiday coverage included as well. Shift: 3 12.5 hour shifts, rotating days and nights. Weekends and holidays included.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Physician Assistant studies
• NYS licensure
• NCCPA certification
