About The Position

Heartline Staffing is seeking a Physician Assistant PA C to join a patient focused outpatient clinic in Columbia South Carolina. This opportunity allows providers to deliver accessible primary and family care services in a collaborative clinical environment focused on quality patient outcomes and strong provider support. In this position, the Physician Assistant will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. Providers deliver preventive care, health counseling, diagnostic testing, and treatment planning while coordinating care with other healthcare professionals when appropriate. This is a full time position with a requirement to work every other weekend.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of Physician Assistant experience preferred
  • Current NCCPA National Board Certification
  • Active state license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of employment or eligibility upon hire
  • Completion of DOT certification exam required within 30 days of employment
  • Active Basic Life Support BLS certification CPR AED
  • Ability to pass a respirator FIT test
  • Current NCCPA certification
  • Active Physician Assistant license in the state of employment or eligibility upon hire
  • Active BLS certification CPR AED
  • Ability to pass respirator FIT testing
  • Completion of DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment

Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence based primary and family care including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions
  • Perform routine examinations, diagnostic testing, and preventive care services
  • Provide health counseling and patient education to support long term wellness and disease prevention
  • Treat injuries and illnesses and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals when appropriate
  • Promote patient engagement through screenings, wellness services, and chronic disease management
  • Complete administrative duties including inventory management, opening and closing procedures, patient follow up, insurance verification, and payment collection
  • Manage patient appointments and support clinic operations to ensure efficient patient care delivery
