About The Position

Ascension St. Vincent is looking for a full time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our elite and highly skilled burn care team in Indianapolis, Indiana. Our ideal candidates must be willing to work days and every third weekend. Our ideal candidate would have burn or ICU experience. 12 hr shifts, 7am-730p, includes holiday and weekend coverage, No call. Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• Physician Assistant credentialed from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Life Support certification.
• Orthopedic Physician Assistant credential.

Responsibilities

• Join 2 MD's and 6 APP's in a Level 1 burn center and trauma center for adult and pediatric patients.
• Work in an 825 bed adult and children's hospitals.
• Provide compassionate, personalized care to all patients, with special attention to persons living in poverty and those most vulnerable.
