About The Position

Orthopedic Surgery PA – Janesville, WI Mercyhealth, an award-winning fully integrated health care delivery organization based in Wisconsin and Illinois, is seeking a Board-Certified Physician Assistant to join our busy Orthopedic Surgery team in Janesville, WI. Opportunity: PA will support orthopedic surgery cases and work with one experienced Orthopedic Surgeon and one additional PA Responsible for managing patients in the office, hospital, ED and/or perioperative setting Required to first assist in the OR and perform other department specific procedures Full-time, weekday schedule is great for work-life balance NO call required Enjoy a level of independence and collaboration within the support of a fast-growing health system EPIC electronic health record Mercyhealth: Mercyhealth is a vertically integrated health care system in southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois with approximately 800 physicians, 8,000 employees, 7 hospitals, 80 ambulatory locations; pharmacies, DME, Home Health, and an insurance company. Requirements

Accredited schooling through a Physician Assistant Degree Program
Obtain CME experience as required for re-certification
Hold valid state license and CME credits for license renewal
Current DEA number
BLS Certification
Other certifications as required

Responsibilities

Responsible for managing patients in the office, hospital, ED and/or perioperative setting
Required to first assist in the OR and perform other department specific procedures
