The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and managing patient's pain issues in accordance with the standard of care. This position will require traveling to our offices in Niceville and Defuniak (~20 miles away). Requirements

Graduation from an Accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program
PA-C/NP Licensed in FL

Responsibilities

Patient exam/evaluation to include medical history, relevant imaging/studies
Utilize a multimodal approach to include but not limited to medication, physical therapy and bracing where appropriate
Interpret medical tests in the context of patient care and explains results to patients
Monitor patient's compliance to treatment plan (i.e.: obtaining urine drug screens, where applicable)
Record complete, timely and legible medical records
Liaise with other medical professionals related to patient care
Coordinate with medical assistants, nurses, and other medical and administrative staff
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies
