About The Position

We are growing! Seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our busy urology clinic! JOB SUMMARY: Provides health care in collaboration with physician(s); assists supervising physician in surgery, clinic, hospital, and on-call, as needed. Manages selected cases according to established protocols; maintains case histories, medical reports, and other records; prepares treatment plans; orders x-rays and other diagnostic procedures; writes prescriptions according to protocols; refers acute and chronic care patients; patient education counseling; conducts health assessments utilizing diagnostic tools and laboratory tests.

Requirements

  • Currently licensed by the Oklahoma State Board of Licensure and Supervision or the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
  • Licensed under the supervision of an Active Staff physician.
  • Physically and mentally able to conduct job duties as listed.
  • Maintains malpractice coverage as defined by the Board of Trustees.
  • Current CPR card or completion of course within 30 days of hire.
  • Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.
  • Adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare reports, evaluate patients, and read written materials.
  • Able to discriminate minute details.
  • Able to communicate (written and oral) in English.
  • Able to frequently lift at least 60 lbs., reach, pull, push, bend, stoop, and kneel.
  • Able to hear, see, and feel to accurately assess, monitor, and administer care.
  • Possesses fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to give care (i.e.: Administer medications and handle instruments).
  • Able to work in a latex-burdened environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a clinic or ambulatory setting preferred.
