As a fast growing and well-respected private practice in Ventura County, the role of our healthcare Providers in our practice are to examine and treat patients, regardless of age or sex. Ensure proper injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Prescribe and administer medications, perform routine vaccinations, and provide advice regarding personal health and hygiene. Request necessary tests and follow-up visits and refer patients to specialists, as necessary. Opportunity Highlights Community leader in primary care. Requirements
- Active and unrestricted California PA/NP medical license.
- License/Certification: Active and unrestricted California Medical license. (Required)
- Active DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances. (Required)
- Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics.
- Excellent knowledge of infectious diseases, their symptoms and epidemiology.
- Broad knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications.
- In-depth knowledge of legaland bestmedical guidelines and medicine best practices.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Respect for patient’s confidentiality.
- Compassionate and approachable.
- Responsible and trustworthy.
