LOCATION DETAILS Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates, Stockbridge Medical Office (primary location) Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates, Riverdale Medical Office GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES Responsible for providing medical assistance to patients in office and in hospital, and receives training and direction from practice physicians.

Requirements

• Master of Medical Science, Physician Assistant or Master of Science in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner required, adult or acute care Nurse Practitioner.
• Must be computer literate and able to operate Practice Management software and multiple Microsoft Office applications.

• Work under pressure; assess, respond to, and communicate issues in a timely manner
• Maintain composure and set a professional example to patients and coworkers

Responsibilities

• Running daily GI outpatient clinic
• Accurately providing and counseling patients with information for medical treatment or procedures
• Answering emails and voicemails and returning patient calls in a timely and efficient manner
• Abiding by and promoting HIPAA compliance; maintaining strictest confidentiality with regards to patient information
