Requirements

  • Current national certification as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner.
  • DEA, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required.
  • At least one year of Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care experience required.
  • Current CA state license is required.
  • New graduates will be considered.

  • Experience working in an academic setting with current residents.

Responsibilities

  • Provide urgent care services to patients.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
  • Participate in the training and education of residents if desired.
  • Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and management.
