About The Position

The Physician Assistant First Assistant position at UCHealth's Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic in Colorado Springs, CO, offers an opportunity to join a reputable and growing program. Requirements

• Bachelor or Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
• Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in Colorado.
• Physician Assistant Certification (PA-C) from the NCCPA.
• Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe medications.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an accredited organization.
• Surgery First Assistant experience is required; plastic and reconstructive surgery experience is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures as a First Assistant in plastic and reconstructive surgery.

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
• Participate in patient education and counseling regarding surgical procedures and recovery.
