Position Summary: The Orthopedic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician. The Orthopedic Physician Assistant works within a cooperative unit, utilizing team effort with health care providers, co-workers, and the public to provide positive patient interaction.
Requirements
- Graduate of a nationally accredited Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner program.
- Certification from the National Commission on Certifications of Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioner.
- Must be eligible to obtain or already hold a current State of Wisconsin Physician Assistant licensure.
- BLS required.
Responsibilities
- Provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician.
- Works within a cooperative unit, utilizing team effort with health care providers, co-workers, and the public to provide positive patient interaction.
