About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) - NICU position at Advocate Health involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The role requires the use of the nursing process to assess patient needs, plan and implement individualized interventions, and evaluate the effectiveness of care. The RN will work collaboratively with healthcare team members to ensure patient-centered care and will be responsible for anticipating and recognizing significant changes in patient conditions. Requirements

  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing.
  • Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.
