The position is for a full-time AMG Specialist in Imaging Services, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. The role involves clinical responsibilities such as assessing, diagnosing, and managing treatment plans for patients, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies. The specialist will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, providing health promotion and disease management counseling. The position also includes responsibilities for documentation, coding, and billing practices, as well as participation in quality and safety initiatives. The role requires the ability to adapt to evolving technology and maintain high standards of patient care.

  • Assess, diagnose, and determine treatment and management plans for patients.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies.
  • Manage conditions based on clinical indications and evidence-based care.
  • Provide health promotion, disease prevention, and management counseling.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and seek consultations as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Participate in quality, safety, and peer review initiatives.
  • Facilitate coordinated care and communication among healthcare team members.
  • Perform office or hospital procedures in accordance with specialty practice.
  • Participate in the education and onboarding of new team members.
  • Active PA license in state(s) of practice.
  • Active PA national board certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
  • Active DEA registration prior to hire.
  • Active BLS and/or ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by clinical practice.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physician Assistant.
  • No prior experience required.
  • Demonstrated high level of clinical proficiency.
  • Excellent decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
