About The Position

JOB SUMMARY The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is a skilled member of the health team who provides medical and educational services to patients in collaboration with a physician. This individual works within a cooperative department, utilizing team effort with health care providers, co-workers, and the public to provide positive patient interaction. Marshfield Clinic is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine/Urgent Care NP or PA to join the Stevens Point team with coverage to our Wi Rapids ED/UC as needed. Requirements

  • Master's degree nurse practitioner/Physician Assistant.
  • one to two years experience in ED/UC at APC level
  • Current State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Nurse Compact License.
  • Nurse Practitioner Certification awarded by a national certifying body.
  • Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber Certification awarded by the State of Wisconsin.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of employment.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification awarded by the American Heart Association.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification awarded by the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
