About The Position
The Department of Regional Cardiothoracic Surgery is looking to add an 'Experienced' Advanced Practice Providers to the Mercy Hospital CT Surgery Team on a PRN basis. CT Surgery Experience is required. Shift hours will be variable based on departmental needs. However, this provider will be required to work one weekend a month. New Graduates will NOT be considered for this opportunity. APRNs must be Acute Care and have CT Surgery Experience. Nationally certified Advanced Practice Provider who provides primary and/or specialty care in a variety of healthcare settings. Functions in collaboration with the health care team in accordance with certification and licensure. Practice emphasizes health promotion, disease prevention and the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic health problems. Responsible for dissemination of knowledge through instructing, leading and developing educational programs.
