This position may rotate to regional clinics as needed. Requirements

Licensure: Active Florida PA or APRN license (Required).
Certification: National board certification (PA-C, FNP, AGNP, or similar).
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in Interventional Pain Management, Orthopedics, Neurology, or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R).
Credentials: Valid DEA registration with authority to prescribe controlled substances.
Skills: Exceptional interpersonal communication, clinical judgment, and a high level of detail-orientation regarding medical documentation.

Nice To Haves

Procedural Proficiency: Demonstrated experience performing joint injections is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Comprehensive Assessment: Perform detailed physical exams and specialized pain assessments to identify root causes of discomfort.
Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans in close collaboration with the supervising physician.
Diagnostics: Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including MRI, CT scans, X-rays, and laboratory work.
Clinical Procedures: Perform or assist with interventional procedures such as joint injections (including knee, shoulder, and hip) , trigger point injections, and nerve blocks.
Regulatory Compliance: Monitor medication usage, including controlled substances, ensuring strict adherence to Florida state regulations and DEA guidelines.
Patient Advocacy: Provide thorough education on treatment options, risk mitigation for medication management, and lifestyle modifications.
Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed records within the EMR system to ensure continuity of care.
