About The Position
Professional Care Medical Practices PC ("Professional Care”) is a private, physician founded, nationally accredited correctional health care practice. Professional Care provides comprehensive medical & mental health care services in the state of New York. Correctional health care is a unique, challenging, and exciting opportunity for today’s medical professional in that it provides the ability to truly utilize all of your learned medical skills and knowledge on a daily basis. It is the perfect hybrid of Primary Care, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, and Addiction Medicine; providing care to an under-served, diverse, and truly appreciative patient population. We are currently looking for a Part-Time or PerDiem, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team and provide on-site medical care at the Monroe County Jail in Rochester, NY. Part Time position would every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday) during normal dayshift hours. Shift Differential for weekend shift is also provided. (8 hour shifts). In addition, must work one (1) spring/summer holiday and one (1) fall/winter holiday. Perdiem must work 24.0 hours per month. Shifts vary each month and majority are open on weekends. In addition, must work one (1) spring/summer holiday and one (1) fall/winter holiday. To quickly summary some key points: Salaries are negotiable and commensurate based on experience. hourly rate range: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour, $10.00 shift differential for weekends (Saturday/Sunday). Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Board Certified.
- Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York.
- Maintain current DEA license.
- Maintain active BLS (i.e. CPR) certification.
- Maintain current Driver’s License.
