The PA/NP will play a vital role in providing exceptional medical care to patients of all ages. Requirements
- Unrestricted and active California Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner License
- Experience in emergency medicine or urgent care either as an APP OR pre-PA
- Current BLS, ACLS certification
- Current California DEA certificate prior to start date
- Proficiency with EMRs
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a collaborative setting to ensure positive patient health outcomes
- Fluency in Spanish, Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, interpret test results and treat common acute adult/pediatric illnesses, applying evidenced-based medical practices
- Maintain patient Electronic Medical Record data
- Refer to PCP and specialists when appropriate
- Collaborate with regional and central leadership to meet health quality and clinical excellence goals
- Other duties as assigned
