About The Position

The position involves providing professional and courteous service to all customers of Ogden Clinic, including patients, affiliates, providers, administration, employees, co-workers, insurance company representatives, and vendor representatives. The role requires meeting behavioral expectations, supporting the dignity of all persons, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements while maintaining safety for oneself and others. The individual must study, understand, and adhere to all Clinic Policies and Procedures and OSHA guidelines.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in nursing or graduate of an accredited PA educational program.
  • Evidence of completion of an RN program and Utah State Licensure.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting documents and writing reports.
  • Able to perform basic mathematical operations.
  • Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Computer knowledge with experience in word processing and spreadsheet programs.
  • Knowledge of general office equipment and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to physician's effectiveness by identifying patient care issues and implementing physician directives.
  • Assess patient health through interviews, physical examinations, and reviewing medical histories.
  • Determine abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests.
  • Interpret test results of diagnostic tests.
  • Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
  • Perform therapeutic procedures such as administering injections, suturing, and managing wounds.
  • Instruct and counsel patients on therapeutic regimens and wellness.
  • Provide continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and regulations.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies.
  • Comply with legal and professional requirements by studying legislation and advising management.
  • Maintain professional knowledge by attending workshops and participating in professional societies.
