Requirements

• Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistant school.
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) Virginia State License or Physician Assistant (PA) Virginia State License.
• 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• ACLS and BLS certification.
• Ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent verbal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical services at the scope and level of a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner.
• Systematically assesses the urgent or emergent health needs of patients and formulates a plan of care with the medical team.
• Recognizes and treats illnesses and injuries according to established operating instructions.
• Ensures integrity and security of all privacy laws.
• Responds to inquiries using knowledge of established policies and procedures for safeguarding information.
• Completes tasks with cognitive reasoning and follow-up skills, ensuring data integrity.
• Proactively multi-tasks on various assignments while maintaining a sense of urgency.
• Maintains professionalism, ethical standards, and confidentiality of company information.
• Records and maintains patient information in accordance with standard protocols.
• Identifies and records signs and symptoms of physical and mental conditions.
• Exercises initiative, judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making daily.
• Protects patients' privacy through confidentiality and infection control procedures.
• Performs duties in a safe manner and follows corporate safety policy.
• Performs other duties as assigned in accordance with contract requirements.
