Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The PA or NP will join a team of 2 Advanced Practice Providers and 3 attending surgeons. The position involves comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and documentation of all cardiothoracic surgery patients in the pre-operative, intraoperative, and postoperative periods, as well as follow-up after discharge to ensure continuity of care in patient management. The role includes rounding in the ICU and on the floor, performing conduit harvesting for Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting, assisting during cardiac and thoracic cases, and managing office responsibilities such as patient visits and education.
