About The Position

Full time Neurosurgery Physician Assistant for the Neurosurgery department at Palisades Medical Center. This position will support the Neurosurgeon both in the outpatient and inpatient setting, especially with surgical cases. On call commitment required. Weekends as needed. Holidays as needed. Alternating First On-Call to the Physician. The Physician Assistant assists, monitors, and manages the day-to-day needs of patients as requested by, in conjunction with, and under the supervision of a physician. Performs the duties and responsibilities of a Physician Assistant according to customary and generally accepted medical standards.

Requirements

• Full-time availability
• Experience as a Physician Assistant in a surgical setting
• Ability to work on call, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support the Neurosurgeon in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Assist with surgical cases.
• Monitor and manage day-to-day needs of patients under physician supervision.
• Perform duties according to accepted medical standards.
