About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant - Medicine to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan . Requirements

Physician Assistant certification/license issued by the NCCPA
Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant
Must be ACLS/BLS certified

Responsibilities

Elicits and performs a detailed and accurate history and performs an appropriate physical examination.
Monitors the level of and adjusts immunosuppressive medications.
Observes and records pertinent progress of patients, updating and summarizing charts, writing orders and progress notes, and notifying Attending Physicians of changes in patient’s condition when appropriate.
Performs BLS and ACLS procedures in the presence of life-threatening situations such as cardiac and/or respiratory distress when an Attending Physician is unavailable and with the Physician when appropriate.

Benefits

Annual Base Salary: $131,127 - $174,836 based on 40-hour work week.
The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $144,239 - $192,319, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution and other factors as set forth below:
401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
