About The Position

Providence Alaska Medical Center is seeking a full or part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a well-established Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) practice in Anchorage, Alaska. This role primarily involves outpatient services with daytime hospital consultations and shared weekend call coverage. The selected candidate will work alongside experienced professionals in a supportive environment, providing a full range of prenatal diagnostic procedures and care for high-risk pregnancies.

Requirements

• Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Alaska.
• Experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine or related field preferred.
• Ability to perform prenatal diagnostic procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Epic EMR system.
• Familiarity with AIUM certification standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
• Perform prenatal diagnostic procedures including ultrasounds, amniocentesis, CVS, and fetal echocardiography.
• Consult with patients and provide comprehensive care for high-risk pregnancies.
• Participate in shared weekend call coverage with MFM specialists.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, genetic counselors, and nursing staff.
