Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current NCCPA certification (PA-C)
• Active or eligible state PA license
• DEA license (or ability to obtain)
• 2+ years of clinical experience preferred (internal medicine or primary care strongly preferred)
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and patient-care skills

Responsibilities

• Perform histories, physicals, and comprehensive clinical assessments
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Conduct preventive care and sick visits
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and EKGs
• Develop and manage treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and provide medication counseling
• Educate patients and coordinate specialty referrals
• Document care accurately in the EMR
• Collaborate closely with the supervising physician and clinical staff
