A leader in high-tech computerized diagnostic and treatment methods, the Weill Cornell Medicine Brain and Spine team at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital treats the full spectrum of neurological disease — from brain tumors, spine tumors; stroke, aneurysms and cerebrovascular disorders and epilepsy to Parkinson's disease, MS, and other movement disorders. As a Neurology inpatient PA at NYP Queens Hospital, you will manage all aspects of care for patients on the neurology team, including floor management of complex inpatients, responding to neurological emergencies. This position is a Full-Time, 37.5 hours a week opportunity. Weekday, Evening, and Weekend shifts will be required. Hours will be 7a-7p and/or 7p-7a for a 12 hr shift. You have to be comfortable supporting Queens Medical Group Practices and Neurology coverage at the hospital.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies
- 4 years of Physician Assistant experience
- Current NYS licensure
- NCCPA certification
- DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) registration number
- ACLS/BLS
Nice To Haves
- Neurology experience preferred
