Explore this career-making opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to take on front-line responsibility in our Neuro ICU. The Weill Cornell Medicine Brain and Spine medical and surgical team at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is a leader in high-tech computerized diagnostic and treatment methods, treating the full spectrum of neurological diseases—from brain and spine tumors to stroke, aneurysms, cerebrovascular disorders, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, MS, and other movement disorders.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of care for patients on the neurology team.
- Manage complex neurocritical care patients.
- Respond to neurological emergencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies.
- Minimum of 2 years of Physician Assistant experience (Critical Care experience desired).
- Current NYS licensure.
- NCCPA certification.
- DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) registration number.
- ACLS/BLS certification.
Nice-to-haves
- Neurology experience preferred.
- Critical Care experience preferred.
