About The Position

Under the general or direct supervision of the Physician-In-Charge or designee, the Physician's Assistant (PA) will perform the following duties and be further guided by the specific Delineation of Privileges. Work requires knowledge of anatomy, physiology and the clinical aspects of patient care at a level normally acquired through completion of an approved Physician's Assistant Program culminating in a Bachelors degree of Science and three to five years of previous work related experience. Licensure required as a Physician's Assistant by the State of New Jersey. Work requires the analytical ability to resolve highly complex problems requiring the application of scientific or technical principles, theories and concepts and in-depth experienced-based knowledge. Work requires the ability to develop and write instructional/training materials, prepare detailed assessments of patient referrals, conduct individual or group therapy sessions, or perform other duties requiring a comparable level of communication skill. Work requires direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients.

Requirements

• Completion of an approved Physician's Assistant Program culminating in a Bachelor's degree of Science.
• Three to five years of previous work-related experience.
• Licensure as a Physician's Assistant by the State of New Jersey.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and clinical aspects of patient care.
• Analytical ability to resolve complex problems using scientific or technical principles.
• Ability to develop and write instructional/training materials.
• Ability to prepare detailed assessments of patient referrals.
