About The Position
As a Physician Assistant in the Emergency Department at Regions Hospital, you'll find yourself in a fast-paced environment with over 90,000 ED visits per year. Our Emergency Department has 55 treatment bays and is designed to treat patients in acuity-based care pods. Regions Hospital is one of only three hospitals in Minnesota that is verified as a Level I Trauma Center for both adults and for children with the expertise and technology to treat the most serious injuries 24/7. The Physician Assistant is responsible for providing direct patient care including obtaining histories, examining patients, ordering appropriate labs and x-rays, performing minor procedures, discussing treatment plans and following up with patients and their families. Please note: new grads will not be considered for this opening.
