About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant - Cardiology to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. Opportunity Details: Order, interpret tests, counsel on preventive healthcare, and write prescriptions. Provides direct outpatient and inpatient care under Attending supervision. Under supervision, conducts cardiac stress testing, including graded exercise treadmill testing and nuclear stress tests. Under supervision, assists in all cardiac procedures and obtains consent for all cardiology procedures. Orders and administers pharmacologic stress agents and echo agents. Participates in Heart Failure (HP) Program and in heart failure research. Provides initial visit, revisits assessments, establishes plan of care with patient, and patient education.

Requirements

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified by the NCCPA
  • Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience as a Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

Benefits

  • Annual Base Salary: $131,127 - $174,836 based on 40-hour work week and years of State Licensure.
  • The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $144,239 - $192,319, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below:
