Requirements

• A college degree as a Physician’s Assistant from a recognized university, affiliated with a medical school.
• Refer to the Medical Staff Guidelines for certifications and credentialing applicable to this position.

Nice To Haves

• Two to five years of experience with a medical practice setting where diagnosis, treatment and patient education were the focus of the role.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, and with medical consultation and direction, performs physical, psycho-social assessment.
• Establishes medical diagnosis.
• Orders and evaluates diagnostic tests.
• Manages follow up care.
• Performs physical examinations.
• Develops treatment plans.
• Orders and interprets lab tests and results.
• Provides preventative healthcare and counseling.
