Requirements

• Licensed in RI as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice RN.
• Experience with urgent care walk-in, Occupational Health and Sports physicals/injuries.
• Graduate from CAHEA accredited training program for PA-C.
• Present proof of passage of the NCCPA certification examination for PA-C.
• Current registration as a physician assistant from the RI department of health.
• Graduate of an accredited school or college for APRN.
• Present current RNP licensure in the State of Rhode Island or pending.
• Current completion of a BLS provider course.
• Credentialing by the Medical Staff is required.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a clinical team to diagnose and treat urgent and non-urgent conditions in patients of all ages in our Medical and Wellness Center.
• Float between East Greenwich and Westerly Express Care locations.
• Provide care for urgent care walk-in, Occupational Health and Sports physicals/injuries.
