About The Position

The Physician provides licensed medical care including diagnosis, treatment (inclusive of surgery or pre/post-surgical care where appropriate), case management and clinical research. The Physician manages complex and sometimes unpredictable situations. The Physician must be competent in technical, clinical and surgical skills (where appropriate), cognitive and interpersonal skills required to serve those patients receiving the above mentioned services. The Physician is expected to practice within the established Medical Center and physician’s standards of practice (policies, procedures, protocols), and adhere to key results areas of the Medical Center. This is a non-ACGME fellowship position in Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy, Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Wall/Hernia Surgery. Incoming fellow, Alec Haas will start on 8/1/2026.

Requirements

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• board certified or board eligible in specialization required
• State of Ohio and DEA licensure required
• Completion of an accredited residency in specialty required
• fellowship training program in sub-specialty required (where applicable)
