University Health Partners of Hawaii is the Faculty Practice of the John A Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM). In conjunction with the State of Hawaii's Department of Health - Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division, JABSOM and UHP are expanding Hawaii UTelehealth (HUT) to provide access to no-cost addiction medicine treatment for the State of Hawaii. Our new Telehealth Addiction Medicine program is founded on the belief that everyone deserves a path to recovery. We aim to provide evidence-based, patient-centered, and non-judgmental care for individuals with substance use disorders (SUDs), meeting them wherever they are in their journey. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician to be a core member of our clinical team. We are looking for a compassionate and autonomous Physician (MD/DO) to provide high-quality, direct clinical care to patients in our innovative, 100% remote Addiction Medicine program. The Physician will be responsible for conducting comprehensive patient evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and prescribing Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) via telehealth. This role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about addiction medicine, skilled in virtual care delivery, and committed to providing patient-centered, evidence-based treatment to underserved populations.
