About The Position

Mercy is seeking board eligible or board certified Physicians to join their outpatient-only practice focused on building relationships and enhancing the wellness of seniors. The role involves managing a patient panel of 600 to 1,000 patients, with a strong emphasis on quality care and patient interaction, supported by a dedicated team. This position offers a balanced work-life environment with no holiday, weekend, or evening shifts, and is designed to reduce physician burnout through a comprehensive wellness program.

Requirements

• Board eligible or board certified in a relevant medical specialty.
• Strong interest in building relationships and focusing on wellness for seniors.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in outpatient care settings.
• Familiarity with Medicare and Medicare Advantage programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient panel size of 600 to 1,000 patients with APP support.
• Conduct in-person, virtual, or telephonic encounters including annual comprehensive visits, transitional care, and acute/urgent visits.
• Build relationships with patients and focus on their wellness.
• Participate in value-based care initiatives with quality incentives.
• Utilize a dedicated panel RN for telephone encounters, triage, and in-basket support.
