About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced PT - Outpatient (Days) for a 13-week travel assignment in Alpena, MI. Contract Details Days, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, 10; 730AM-6:00PM (can work 8 to 10 hour days) / 40 Hour Guarantee Start Date: 4/27/2026 Contract: 13 weeks Location: Alpena, MI Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend Nonbillable Hours: 16 hours Weekend Requirements: One Sunday Per Month ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION (Facility will NOT approve scheduling requests at/after time of offer / Please obtain this information prior to submittal / Requests after offer can be cause for rescinded offer) This position delegates responsibility to the Physical Therapist Assistant and Aides. Activities of this position are patient focused and utilize assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation in accordance with physical therapy standards, physician orders, and governing policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities: (20%) Evaluates the patient’s function by performing formal/informal testing measures to determine the skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular status. (20%) Develops a goal specific treatment regime based on assessment data and the patient’s tolerance to carry-out the treatment plan as prescribed. (20%) Submits a written treatment regime to be included as part of the plan of treatment authorized by and coordinated with the physician. Updates plan of care as needed to reflect changes in patient status. Co-signs verbal orders received by physical therapist assistant as necessary. (20%) Devises a schedule of treatment, which is frequency and duration specific to be discussed with patient/family/caregiver and coordinated with clinical support staff. (20%) Educates patient, family, and/or caregiver regarding pathology or condition, patient alternatives, prognosis, and rationale for treatment through forms of rest, exercise, modalities, and other indicated interventions. Compensation: Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible) Pay package details provided upon offer

Requirements

  • PT Experience is required
  • Pediatric Experience is required
  • Active American Heart Association BLS is required
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  • Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

Nice To Haves

  • Acute Care Experience is highly preferred
