We also provide marketing and trading services to electric and gas utilities, municipalities, cooperatives and other load-serving entities, as well as to owners of electric generation facilities. The trader will develop strategies for real-time and short-term energy markets, optimizing client generation and native load in bilateral and/or RTO markets. This role involves working with the generation and fuels teams to allocate resources and make economic decisions, while securing necessary transmission. Candidates should know the economic and dispatch traits of combined cycle, peaking, nuclear, and pump storage facilities, along with ISO/RTO tariffs. Proficiency with PJM, SPP, and MISO market portals, as well as other industry tools, is required.
